It is interesting to note that "Rat Race" opened in 3rd place nationwide, with a weekend box office gross of $11.6 million. The comedy (essentially a remake of "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World") features a song written by Utah senator (and Latter-day Saint) Orrin Hatch. But this isn't enough to get "Rat Race" listed below on the list of films by LDS filmmakers: Hatch isn't the composer of the overall film -- he only wrote one song.
