I have a huge passion for film, and I am very interested in editing - however, I don't really know of any super incredible editing programs in Utah, let alone film programs. I know that U of U has a film program, and SLCC, as well as BYU? Are there any schools in Utah that have the specific purpose of learning about film? Perhaps not even schools, but classes in the summer or something similar? I want to learn about editing with the best of the best, but going outside of Utah would be very expensive, and I want to stay within LDS standards in regards to the people I work with and the film I am editing, if that makes any sense.

I was interested in contacting Brent White, since I saw that he had a really impressive resume in film editing - but I have no idea how in the world I could contact him. If anyone knows any film editors who could give me some tips/guidance, that would be absolutely incredible! I'll keep updated here, but you can also email me at alisamarie@gmail.com if you'd like.
